Carol Sinclair

Carol Sinclair is a ceramics graduate and qualified business adviser and coach, and has been running her own business for 30 years, combining her ceramics practice with her work as a freelance business adviser, trainer and project manager. She has worked across all creative sectors and champions the role creative practice plays in economic development, sustainability, the expression of identity and health and well being. Carol works across Scotland, in both urban and rural locations, and over the last 6 years has worked internationally to facilitate creative exchanges between Scotland and Thailand, Mexico, Iceland, Canada and Afghanistan.
She is an exhibiting artist and professional member of the Society of Scottish Artists. Carol is the Chair of Applied Arts Scotland, a charity run by makers to support other makers by through the exchange of knowledge and expertise and through the delivery of professional development activity including www.CraftToolkit.com. She is a member of the Scottish Government Creative Industries Leadership Group and is currently chairing a working group seeking to identify the development needs of the creative industries workforce.
