Julia Taudevin

Julia is a writer, performer and director based in Glasgow. She has been making award winning theatre shows for over 20 years and starting moving across to writing and directing film and tv three years ago winning her first screen writing award for her first short film Duck Daze. She is co-founder of Glasgow based theatre company Disaster Plan which she runs with her long term collaborator, and husband, Kieran Hurley. We make accessible, cross-artform theatre performance for a diverse range of audiences across Scotland. Julia’s current Disaster Plan projects include Move as part of Made In Scotland, Edinburgh Festival 2021 and touring productions of her and Kieran’s hit shows Beats (now a motion picture) and Blow Off. Independently Julia is currently under commission to the Traverse Theatre, The National Theatre of Scotland and The Lyceum and she has two television series in development.
