Kate Robertson
Kate V Robertson based in Glasgow, she received her Masters of Fine Art from Glasgow School of Art in 2009. Kate is co-founder and co-director the organisation Sculpture Placement Group. Sculpture Placement Group’s mission is to prolong the life-span of sculptures, bring sculptural joy into people’s lives & offer economic/practical solutions for artists. They do this through several projects which also look to generate income, such as SPG Loans (Sculpture Rentals), SPG Club (Subscription Scheme) and researching new ways of commissioning artworks that are sustainable. Last year SPG launched Circular Arts Network, or CAN – a sharing website, like Gumtree, but specifically for the arts community.
