Dance artist and choreographer Lisa Kennedy’s work includes productions and projects with Tron Theatre, Theatre Royal Glasgow’s Stage Experience and NHS Forth Valley Health Promotion, as well as extensive work within education. Starting her career as Dance Artist in Residence with Scottish Dance Traditions, in 2010 she co-choreographed a piece for the Commonwealth Games Handover Ceremony in Glasgow. Lisa is founder of the 1940/50s inspired dance troupe The Kennedy Cupcakes who have been entertaining audiences across Britain since 2009. In 2019 she established The Braw and The Brave- a podcast about people and their passions. From artists to world travellers, conservationists to historians, Lisa has connected with an array of people to talk about the things they love and the experiences that have shaped their lives. As a freelance artist, Lisa recognises the importance of collaboration and is ever keen to connect and share ideas to support others in their creative journeys.
